Our company has recently opened a new 6000 sq. ft. facility, housing over 5000 suits,
literally up to the ceiling. At our store, you will find the largest selection in

History
Bakersfield Suit Outlet opened December 15, 2006 on 314 Chester Avenue, starting
with about 300 suits. Our company introduced a new concept to Bakersfield: 3 Suits,
3 Shirts, 3 Ties, 3 Belts, 3 Pairs of Socks, and 3 Hankies, all 18 items only from
$333.33. In addition, the style of suits and accessories ranged from contemporary to
traditional and gave men a wider variety to choose from the latest in men’s fashion.
Within a year, our company outgrew this location.
The new location on 2023 Chester Avenue opened in the heart of downtown and our company
introduced a variety of new features. First, many advisors said we should raise our base
3 Suit deal from $333.33 to $399.99. Instead, we surprised our customers by actually
lowering this price to $299.99. Second, we added to our inventory a shoe line,
slack line, leisure suits, and winter overcoats. Finally our inventory increased to about
2500 suits on stock. Within a year and half we outgrew this location and did something very
unique in the retail industry. We moved to a 3rd location in less than three years.
2014 Chester Avenue is located just right across the street from our former location.
However, it is double the size at 6000 sq. ft. This new location features 5000 suits on
stock, literally up to the ceiling. In addition, our other lines, such as shoes and slacks,
have also significantly expanded. We also added “
In House Tailoring” for the convenience
of our customers, bringing in the finest tailors in the industry and charging some of the lowest prices you’ll find anywhere. We have also partnered
with “I Do” Tuxedos, a premium tuxedo company, to offer our customers the finest in
men’s
formalwear.
